E-TASC Announcement

GeSI is pleased to announce an E-TASC platform upgrade launching March 3, 2020

GeSI, Members and Suppliers will continue to collaborate to identify and mitigate ESR risks in the supply chain with enhanced functionality and ease of use within the tool.  Amongst the many changes coming to E-TASC, the new 2020 Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) campaign will be launched March 3, 2020.  

Members and Suppliers will see many new features in E-TASC including:

  • New Interface and Navigation
  • Flags and Indicators
  • Robust Reporting
  • Data Analytics
  • Workflow
  • Trading Relationship and Data Sharing Capabilities
  • Audit Scheduling, Processing, Quality Control, and Delivery

Important Information for Current E-TASC Users

Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) - 2020 Campaign Launch

  • The new 2020 campaign of the Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) will be launched March 3, 2020
  • Members and Suppliers need to finish and release their 2019 assessments by the end of February in order to receive a score and risk rating for the 2019 campaign
  • The 2019 SAQ will be available in a read-only manner once the 2020 SAQ is launched
  • Within the new E-TASC platform, Members and Suppliers can complete and re-release the new 2020 SAQs
  • The new 2020 Self-Assessment will be pre-populated, requiring update only to modified information

Data Migration

  • Links and bookmarks will automatically be re-routed to the new E-TASC platform
  • Supplier trading relationships and Supplier data will still be accessible with a seamless transition
  • Legacy Assessments and VAP Audits will continue to be available in Read-Only view
  • Full data migration is expected by end of May 2020

Training

  • The E-TASC Workgroup is participating in a demonstration of the new platform mid- February to prepare for the new release
  • User guides and training materials will be made available within E-TASC
  • New materials will become available on the GeSI Intranet
  • Suppliers are invited to register for training sessions showing the new upgraded features

Audit

  • The VAP Audits currently in process will be completed in the new platform
  • Newly requested VAP Audits will be conducted using the latest VAP Audit Checklist version and the newly created robust workflow within E-TASC
  • The VAP Audit Process within E-TASC now has 12 certified and experienced Audit Firms
  • Audit Firms and Auditors are attending various training sessions in preparation to perform the new VAP Audit Workflow coming with the platform upgrade
