#SystemTransformation ( 2016 )

In early 2015, GeSI issued a joint call to action with the ITU to call on policymakers to recognize the importance of ICT as an implementation means for the achievement of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Following up on the call to action, GeSI launched a project to explore in detail the different ways in which ICT can contribute to making the SDGs become reality. The results of the project were unveiled on June 14, 2016 in Washington, DC in the course of the event Innovating Our Way towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The key findings of the research are accessible on the dedicated website, www.systemtransformation-sdg.gesi.org. Additional premium content is also available to all interested stakeholders – for more information, please contact us at info@gesi.org.
