Sustainability and climate action programs have not yet fully benefited from the new opportunities provided by digital innovations. Evidence however shows that digital solutions, such as 5G, AI, blockchain and IoT are key enablers for the climate action. The session focuses on the interlinkages between digital and sustainability and will showcase concrete case studies where digital solutions act as a catalyst of reaching climate change goals in different sectors of the economy. Examples of commitments and progress in greening the ICT sector will also be discussed. The session will also highlight the opportunities that the green transition presents for the ICT sector
