Transform through the Circular Economy and EPR Platform

Africa RISE will be holding an event to discuss and tackle the e-waste problem going on in Botswana but also affecting other South African countries. Only 13 countries in Africa have an e-waste policy, comparing this to the 2.9 million tons of e-waste Africa produces every year and the problem is evident. This e-waste has many harmful effects to the continent of Africa, most notably the e-waste causes an estimated loss in value of raw materials across Africa to be around $3.2 billion USD. 
  
The EPR and Circular Economy platform will launch during this event and will facilitate the discussions, exchange of ideas, designs, and development of collective approaches towards the EPR and Circular Economy market. This event will be held in Botswana, but you can join virtually from the 12th of July to the 14th of July.
