GeSI's Digital with Purpose Movement workshop in Bonn

Deutsche Telekom hosted the Digital with Purpose workshop on 18-19 February in Bonn, Germany

On 18-19 February, Deutsche Telekom hosted the Digital with Purpose workshop which saw over 20 participants, from member companies to partner organisations to UN agencies, come together to build on the Movement following the launch of GeSI's Digital with Purpose report last year.

Led by Deloitte, the workshop produced some key achievements, including:

A shared understanding of the macro-challenges inherent in achieving the SDGs and the role digital technology needs to play
Broad agreement on the importance of the four universal committements that characterise the Digital with Purpose movement
Shared agreement on the value of a multi-stakeholder movement that enables peer-to-peer support
