Kaoru

Adviser

Kaoru is responsible for project management and strategic operations at GeSI.

Kaoru is an Adviser of the GeSI Brussels office and her main responsibilities include project management and strategic operations.

As Principal Consultant, Kaoru advises GeSI on several projects including: the European Green Digital Coalition, Circular Electronics Partnership, and Digital with Purpose Movement. Additionally, she supports GeSI in the implementation of its new strategy and ensuring operational efficiency across the association. 

Kaoru was the former Director of the GeSI Brussels office where she focused on day-to-day operations, as well as leading on programmatic coordination and strategy support for the CEO and Board. Kaoru has worked at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and Oak Foundation in Geneva, Switzerland. Kaoru also interned at New Profit and Oxfam America in Boston, USA.

Kaoru obtained a BA in International Affairs from Northeastern University and a Master in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.
