GeSI will be present at COP27 and will have 2 sessions at the UN Climate Change Global Innovation Hub Pavillon on 10 November 2022.

Session 1: European Green Digital Coalition (EGDC): Assessing the climate impact of digital solutions

Day/time: Thursday 10th November 2022 | 10:00 – 11:00 GMT+2

This session presents the objectives, working methods, and target impacts of the European Green Digital Coalition (EGDC). EGDC aims to create a specific, quantitative measurement for the impact of digital solutions on climate, a vital complementary initiative to the Digital with Purpose movement.

Session 2: Mind the Gap: accelerating sustainable transformation with enabling technologies and innovative policymaking

Day/time: Thursday 10 November 2022 | 14:00-15:00 GMT+2

The session will present initiatives focusing on corporate climate action, such as the Digital with Purpose Movement and the European Green Digital Coalition, underlining the tangible ways in which Information and Communication Technology (ICT) companies are driving sustainable growth through enabling technologies.
