Training Impact Assessment &Measurement Guidance Manual

This manual is intended for anyone responsible for workplace training.

It will help you design and deliver a course in response to an identified business need and provide participants with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to address that need.  You will learn about the most effective ways to measure student learning; how well the participants apply that learning on the job; and ultimately how well the business need was satisfied. 

GeSI - EICC and Verité have developed this manual to help you understand what steps you need to take so that you can be sure your training program sets the right objectives, has the best chance of achieving those objectives, and can measure success.  

Our evaluation methodology and tools focus on the four levels of training effectiveness that are the basis for the broadly used Kirkpatrick1 Four-Level Training Evaluation Model: Reaction, Learning, Behavior, and Outcomes.
